This room is truly one of a kind. Because we have only one. Boxed beam ceilings. Custom made, hand-wrought iron académie beds (think French boarding school, only with staggeringly fine linens and sans the troubled adolescents). Burled walnut late 19th century dresser, vintage painted metal desk, French fauteuil chair. Oh, and the bathroom? Ice-white marble, heated floor, period fixtures, walk-in shower. Smart. Or should we say, “le beau monde”?
