Schools Out For Summer
As the wildflowers begin to bloom above our pool deck and the last bit of snow melts off the top of Bald Mountain, it’s obvious that spring has sprung in Park City. And while we love spring in our little mountain town, we can’t help but get REALLY excited by the fact that summer is just around the corner. Who could blames us, what with the incredible weather and wide array of activities. It couldn’t get any better, right? Well, one group might disagree and say that it could get better. Need a hint? They used to run the halls of Washington School House from 1889-1931. Students, of course. We can all remember the anticipation we felt as the school year came to an end and the prospect of summer vacation loomed large.  But even among students, there is one group in particular that may be feeling excitement above the rest. That group is high school seniors graduating in the spring and taking off into the wide world (we’re pretty sure they won’t be able to stay away from Park City for long).

If you know one of these prospective graduates and you are coming to Park City to help them celebrate, why not include the Washington School House Hotel in your plans? As the temperatures rise, our rates are falling and those looking for a great time to stay at The Washington School House will find it in the spring. Need to find the perfect graduation gift? You’ll have no problem finding it on Main Street, just steps away from our front door. And when you’re not strolling Main or spending time with your graduate, sneak away to our pool deck and enjoy our special summer cocktail “The Garden at 543”.  The list of ingredients may be long, but don’t worry, we won’t test you on it.
